iRadio (Internet Radio) is becoming the most listened to medium as smart-phones and other mobile devices
technologies improve and become more accessible to mainstream consumers. As wireless providers compete
to stay ahead of each other, the consumer benefits with faster and larger bandwidth accommodations. On our
iRadio page we stream at Hi-Fi 128kbps mp3. While we have the capability to stream at HiFi AAC+ we have
decided to reserve that for another day due to many of our listeners listen on Macs and PC’s from work. Unless
you have a specific player that decodes AAC+ is will sound really bad on a normal player. Taking this into
consideration, we decided to stream at a larger bit rate for higher quality while streaming at mp3 to accommodate
the masses!
